Thanks for posting, Kate, I was wondering this week how you'd be doing! Glad you found some peace in riding (and Bruce of course) and obviously hope you can return home soon.

best,
Marc

I am glad to hear you are safe.

A friend went to New Orleans just before the storm to move his eldery mom to Dallas. It was just in time. A tree hit her house. I know that doesn't sound comforting.... my friends found difficulty and lots of traffic.... but they even more allievated problems by leaving.

I hope you can get back and find your place in peace. Blessings.

I thank you for the blog today. I can so totally relate as I have told you before...fleeing from Rita which you probably don't kow about because it bf NOLA.

My dtr and I felt into the interior of Texas and spent two days with 6 cats in a so friendly Holiday Inn in interior Texas. Every one had their pets and believe it or not we conversed and swapped stories of where and when.

AND the Holiday Inn never charged us there pet fee, they said it was their contribution to people in stress in the middle of a hurricane.

It could have been worse. j
