I'm getting a free place at the Veteran's cemetery, so you can't "rest" next to me unless you enlist, family or no family.

But, you can live with me anytime.

Safer way to get into Mid-City:

Nashville-->Versailles-->Fountainbleau-->Broad-->Anywhere along Canal to Esplanade.

While Broad is very busy, there is a lot more space and people rarely use the parking lane.

Or:

Octavia-->Jefferson Davis

More or less same difference. The slope on Jeff Davis is a little shallower and has a bike lane in the middle + has a bike lane down most of it. It takes you higher up, into Bayou St. John. The Broad St. bridge is a little scarier, but I would personally NEVER bike on Carrollton until after Canal where it gets quieter and widens out. It is super super scary and it is a death trap all the way from St. Charles past Tulane.

Beautiful post. Not at all what I expected from your blog which I interpreted as "what is aw riding my bike around today." Obviously, I've lived in rural Georgia for too long. Before you know it, I'll be putting a "D" on the end of the word "twice." Yes. They do that here. I wish I were kidding.
